I am a LA based creative and art teacher. I love all forms of artistic expression– I dabble in everything creative from candle making, to photography, to ceramics. Currently, I am a Middle School Art Teacher (for the 2020-21 school year) at Hermosa Valley School. In the 6th-8th grade classes I teach, I introduce students to the foundations of 2D & 3D art along with important art movements in art history. We've had quite the year due to school closures and schedule changes for reopening. This year has proven to me that life is constantly shifting, and that regardless of the flux, my priorities have remained constant- to foster creative identities, provide a safe learning environment, and empower students of all identities and backgrounds to express themselves through art. 

I graduated with my BFA in Creative Photography from California State University, Fullerton in 2017.  I hold my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art at California State University, Long Beach.
